Getting around Alanya

Gazipasa Airport – used both for domestic and international flights – is 45 km away to east of Alanya. A regular flight to Ankara is operated by Turkish Airlines twice a week, and a flight to Netherlands is performed on weekly-basis in the period from May to November.
The distance to one of the busiest airports in Turkey – Antalya International Airport – located to the west of Alanya – 125 km. Most international flights to Antalya are carried out by Turkish Airlines, some flights are performed with a transfer through Istanbul. Many international air carriers also make non-scheduled flights to Antalya.

Direct sea connection between the port of Alanya and the rest of Turkey is currently being reorganized.
However, owners of private yachts and boats can comfortably use a yacht port located 6-7 km west of the city center. The sea route is preferred by about 80,000 tourists annually. During the summer period, one-day excursion tours of Alanya-Cyprus (Girne) are also popular with tourists.

Internal city buses
Passenger transportation in Alanya is performed only by municipal buses, the interval is approximately 15 minutes. The longest bus route runs from the eastern side of Alanya, from the crossroads of the Municipality of Kestel to the village of Dinek-Ulash on the western side of Alanya along the coastal road. Another line allows you to get to the fortress of Alanya, the route starts from the Kuyularonu mosque and passes through the city center and Damlatash beach.
Buses to nearby resorts and towns
Western (Konakly, Payallar, Avsallar, Turkler, Incekum, Okurzhalar) and the eastern (Cikcilli, Oba, Chyplakly, Tosmur, Kastel, Mahmutlar, Kargydzhak, Demirtash, Gazipasha) districts can be reached by minibuses.
