The more and more planes are flying to Alanya-Gazipasa international airport.
The more and more planes are flying to Alanya-Gazipasa international airport. This small airport is located 45 kilometers from Alanya and receives flights from all over the world. It appeared in the late 80’s, but was not used for a very long time. In this regard, passengers wishing to get to Alanya had to fly to Antalya and then spend 2-3 hours on the road to get to our region. In connection with the increased passenger traffic, which is aimed at Alanya, the government made a very important decision, and in 2011 – 2013, the updated airport started working with renewed vigor. Now it receives planes not only from other Turkish cities, but also from different countries. Every year more and more cities connect with Alanya through this small and cozy airport.
Today, the gazipasha airport complex serves up to one and a half million passengers a year.
Passengers of domestic and international flights are served in a single terminal. Its area is about 7000 square meters. Unfortunately, at present there is no detailed scheme of the terminal on the official website of Gazipasa airport.
In the departure hall there are check-in counters, information Desk, baggage check-in points, cafe, mother and child room, telephony, Wi-Fi, as well as public toilets and services for disabled passengers. The boarding gates are located on the ground floor. There are also cafes, shops and a waiting room.
Alanya Gazipasa international airport is located in the center of the resort area, so it is easy to reach both Alanya and its regions. In addition to the standard transfer, very often there are regular buses. The route runs from the airport to the bus station. Basically, flights are tied to the landing time of regional aircraft. On the way there are stops near major hotels, University, market and other attractions. There are also car rentals available.
